Positions and Responsibilities
- Facilities Coordinator. Obtains a place for us to meet. Coordinates refreshments.
- Program Coordinator. Schedules and recruits speakers, demonstrations and program events.
- Publicity Coordinator. Coordinates announcements of meetings to like-minded groups and available media outlets.
Projected Audience
- Experienced Watir users sharing/learning advanced skills
- New Watir users learning basic skills and getting assistance starting
- Product management learning about advantages to Watir
Meeting Space needs
- How big? I'm thinking space for 30-50 would be nice
- Free? Would always be nice, but could we get a sponsor to pay if needed?
- Food? Again, nice if we can find sponsor(s) to pay
- Seating arrangements? Should allow/encourage interaction - networking/tutoring
- Wireless internet? Very nice for demonstrations against public websites
- Presentation needs? Whiteboards? Projector? Microphone?
